Member of the noble Mölk family in Salzburg. Albert von Mölk studied for the priesthood at the Collegium Germanicum in Rome; he returned to Salzburg in 1771 and thereafter held important posts in the Konsistorium and at the Salzburg court, often promoting Enlightenment ideas.

Mozart Relevance

Mozart and his father visited Mölk at the Collegium Germanicum on 2 May 1770, where at Mölk's request he gave a concert.
